After going through high school preparing to go into the medical field, I realized that wasn't for me. I love photography and want to carry on in that field of work through cinematography. This photoshoot represents how I felt unsure and trapped into carrying through what is considered a "normal and successful" career into the medical field. The phone with blue paint represents finding a sort of calling in photography into that field. The comics, record, and camera represent the things that opened my creativity in the first place.

My creativity is something that blinds me from the world around me. Dealing with certain things in life, it is easy for me to get lost in photography and the creative aspect of it. The sunglasses with paint represent how my mind works in a way to see a creative aspect to just about anything. The knife dripped in paint is the instrument used to cut away certain things in life, for me that instrument is a camera.

For me, and some people I know, hyper "awareness" (I guess you can say) is something dealt with daily. Issues like anxiety is something that makes you feel tense and on edge, hence the caution tape. Feeling like you are constantly anxious and worried about something. Filling your mind with "what if" questions. The caution tape represents this constant feeling and the feeling of being trapped from it, as if you are not capable of doing everything people normally do. The scissors combat that way of thinking.

The meaning of the name itself is something else entirely which I will not get into. The professional black clothing represents how some people are raised to believe that is all they should be. They should be professional constantly, show no emotion, have their life together with no flaws, the black of it shows that being a robot like that is a dark life. The book burning (no it is not a bible) represents finally breaking that and breaking out of what you were taught and told in life.
